The Kress Room, named for the former five-and-dime chain store in downtown Asheville, brings "Shabby Chic" to Hill House B&B—all the casual elegance of traditional antiques and all the comfort of modern decor. Shades of whites and blues with accents of silver create a fresh and light ambience. Located on a corner of the second floor, one may enjoy afternoon tea and quiet seclusion in a winged-back Victorian chair. The bathroom, with the purest shades of blues and whites, is charmed with a silver gilded claw-foot tub, pedestal sink, and chandelier.
