Share the Moments, Share the Love, at Hill House Bed & Breakfast
The Best Place in Asheville, NC to Say “I Do”
The lawn at Hill House Bed & Breakfast is large and green, and its garden thick and lush, all hidden by droopiing hemlocks from the quiet, residential street out front. The wraparound porch tranquilly overlooks it all. Hill House hosts weddings, receptions, and rehearsal dinners for our lodging guests.
And just as important, no other inn is going to show your wedding the commitment and personal attention. Marcie and Brody of the Southern Pines area booked all of Hill House Bed & Breakfast for a June 2014 wedding, and they told us that it was an easy decision. “No one else made us feel anywhere near as welcome as you all did,” they said.
Our lawn and evening/weekend parking facilities can accommodate self-planned weddings and receptions of up to 100 people, and the inn and its porch can seat up to 40 for a dinner. Staff are usually available to be at your service after hours.
Having family and friends surround you day and evening, all of you our guests at Hill House Bed & Breakfast, will change an event from an afternoon of brief memories into a gathering with days of pictures of you and your loved ones. Photo courtesy of Ryan Bumgarner Photography
Maybe you don’t want the headaches and expense of a wedding. Then, let Hill House plan and host your elopement.
Hill House offers elopement ceremonies managed by diverse, highly skilled officiants whom you select and who will ensure that your wedding day will be forever. The venues are either our lovely lawn and garden, wraparound front porch, or 1885 parlor with 12-foot ceilings.
Rates start at $1,200 (including two nights lodging), and, in addition to the (1) officiant’s ceremony, include (2) a basic photo package, (3) a small wedding cake, (4) flowers for the room and ceremony, (5) a bottle of wine, champagne, or sparkling cider, and (6) a Hill House coffee mug.
Rooms, for which there is a two-night minimum, are at their lowest rates midweek in the winter and can be as much as an additional $200 per night on October weekends. Rates for third and more nights vary between $75 and $165. Gourmet breakfasts and late-afternoon hors d’oeuvres and wine are complimentary.
Taxes are included in all prices. Add-ons include expanded photography, a harpist or violinist for your ceremony, larger cake, spa treatments/massages, and Biltmore Estate day passes.
Hanging with Friends & Family in an Asheville B&B
Be it a Family Reunion, Girlfriends’ Weekend, or a Couples Get-Together, Hill House Bed & Breakfast is a wonderful venue for your gathering. Play cards or watch a movie in the inn parlor, relax with a glass of wine on the porch, or stroll to downtown Asheville.
Our Pisgah Apartment and Hideaway Suite can be combined into a two-bedroom, two-bath single townhome with a gourmet kitchen. A king bed, queen bed, 2 cots, and a queen air mattress sleep 6 adults for 4 adults and 4 children.
Ditto for our Flat Iron Suite, which sleeps 3 adults for 2 adults and 2 children with its daybed and trundle underneath.
You’ll have Hill House Bed & Breakfast’s huge lawn for play and relaxation and, unlike at a typical vacation rental, a delicious breakfast served every morning.
Make some memories at Hill House Bed & Breakfast that will last a lifetime.
