Meet Bailey

Hill House has all the comforts of home… including the family dog. Many times the first words from a guest entering the Inn are “Where’s Bailey?”. Bailey is our 5 year-old Golden Retriever, who also has the role of being Director of Guest Relations at Hill House. She takes her job very seriously! The journals in the guest rooms are filled with tributes toward her:

 “Bailey was so thoughtful in making me feel at home by promptly sitting on my foot while I rubbed her ears.”

“We miss our pets when we are away from home, so seeing Bailey was a special welcome – pets are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole!”

Favorite activities: Napping, short walks… and being petted

Favorite part of her day: When someone sits on the floor and plays with her

Favorite pampering : A couple’s massage – when two guests are petting her at the same time!

Favorite trick: High-Five

Favorite treat: Ice cubes. Unfortunately, Bailey has allergies so her diet is very restricted. Please, no snacks or treats for Bailey.

Not a dog lover? Not to worry. When Bailey is over to visit, she’s leashed and under our control, so guests can visit with her if they choose. She’s not allowed to roam free at the Inn or be in any guest rooms (however, many guests wish she could sleep in their room).

Bailey can’t wait to meet you!
